Last week, WeFarmShop had the absolute pleasure of attending the Farm Shop & Deli Show, and what an incredible few days it was! This year's show was buzzing with passionate producers, artisan makers, and the ever-growing community of food and drink lovers – and we were thrilled to be right in the middle of it.

One of the highlights for us was catching up with so many familiar faces already part of the WeFarmShop community. From Tracy at New Forest Shortbread to Clare at Dauntsey Preserves, and Tony at Payst – all are either live on the app or currently onboarding. It was brilliant to hear how things are going and how the platform will help their businesses grow.
We also had great chats with some of the many other producers who have already signed up and joined the WeFarmShop app, such as Mel from Girl Gone Wild, Louis from Sublime Butter, Camilla at What a Pickle, Sanjay from The Spice Kitchen, Jon at Witchmark Distillery and Stone Daisy Brewery, Tim at The Saucerer, and Deborah from Cinderhill Farm. These brands truly represent the best of independent British food and drink – each with a unique story, product profile, and loyal following. It’s always a joy to put real faces to the names behind these exceptional products.
The show also gave us a chance to connect with the like of James from Little Jack’s, Craig from The Best Ever Brownie Company, Phil at Cornish Cheese, and Andy and Dan from Somerset Charcuterie – longstanding champions of craft and provenance.
A real treat this year was meeting several fantastic producers for the first time. We were excited to chat with Clara and Mateo at The Cotswolds Cardillo, whose British-made panettone and pasta sauces are truly something special. We also met Pete from The Farmer’s Son (haggis lovers, take note!), and Abigail from The Cornish Larder, who also introduced us to their exciting new hot sauce and rubs range (we’ll remember the name soon – promise!).
David at The Granola Kitchen, Oliver from The Estate Dairy, and Charlotte at Sea Sisters stood out as innovators doing brilliant things in their respective categories, while Tom and Laura from Lister Crisps shared the story of their third-generation farming roots – a story WeFarmShop absolutely celebrate!
We also had inspiring conversations with Elliot from Field Goods, Jenny from The Fresh Fish Shop, James and Laura at The Real Cure, Sarah from The Yorkshire Kitchen, and Deborah from Cambrook Foods – each one reaffirming why we do what we do at WeFarmShop.
Another standout moment was finally getting to meet Ed Spicer properly – after a few years of virtual connections, it was great to chat face-to-face.
Lastly, we had an interesting discussion with the Farm Retail Association – and yes, we’ll definitely be signing up. It’s always encouraging to see how aligned our missions are in supporting independent producers and local food systems.
A huge thank you to everyone we met, spoke to, and shared stories with. The energy, creativity, and passion on display at the Farm Shop & Deli Show were truly inspiring. We’re excited about what’s coming next – and proud to be building a platform that brings all of this talent together.
